MASTERPLAN

MASTERPLAN

The Woodberry Down Masterplan sets out the long-term vision for transforming the estate, which was originally built between the 1940s and 1970s, into a modern, mixed and sustainable neighbourhood in north Hackney.

The Masterplan brings together new homes, community spaces, shops, green areas, and improved pedestrian and cyclist connections — creating a place designed for everyone.

Woodberry Down is being regenerated following extensive engagement with residents to create a modern, mixed community with high-quality homes, amenities and green spaces. The regeneration is being delivered in phases, with the Masterplan for Phases 5–8 approved in Autumn 2025. This website focuses on the consultation for Phase 5, the first phase to come forward under the new Masterplan.
